Cheryl Panther is President of Panther Financial Planning, LLC, a registered investment adviser (Tennessee). She began the firm in 2008 to address the need for creativity, practicality, and unparalleled client service in equal measure for financial planning clients. Cheryl has been a CPA for more than three decades and earned the prestigious Personal Financial Specialist designation from the American Institute of CPAs.

Cheryl’s client focus differs from other financial advisors in that she emphasizes a holistic understanding of clients’ financial and life goals and priorities rather than only addressing investment needs. She often works with clients on an hourly basis to develop a plan with no requirement to place investment assets with the firm. Financial and tax education for clients is a high priority so that clients can make well-informed choices for their financial future.

When clients do need or want a financial advisor who can design and manage their investment and retirement accounts, Cheryl brings expertise to do so while paying close attention to balance the risk tolerance and performance goals prioritized by the client.

She graduated from The University of Tennessee – Knoxville and received an Executive Certificate in Financial Planning from Belmont University. She holds membership in both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, as well as a number of other professional organizations.

Cheryl often teaches and presents to other professionals on tax and financial issues, particularly as they relate to divorce. She provides services to clients and attorneys in family law matters through Panther Financial Divorce Solutions and teaches alternative dispute resolution processes locally and internationally through the Institute for Family Conflict Resolution.

Cheryl provides services to clients throughout the State of Tennessee.
